As for knives, know exactly what you mean, I am lethal with them and not a week goes by without one or two fingers getting maimed. How nice to be self sufficient, remember long, long, ago when I first married the hubby and we had a 120' garden full of fruit bushes we made loads of lovely goodies to sustain us through the winter months (love and home made goodies what more does anyone want). Hope the trip to Oz goes well. If you happen to be in a supermarket check out the dairy free section, especially Sweet William Chocolate Spread which is DAIRY FREE and according to Ella sooo good and some biscuits called Mintos. She loved it in Oz as she could get most things in dairy free form – now why can’t we do that.
